An herbal mix we make to aid digestion. Contains Golden Seal, Gentian, Licorice & Dandelion.
- Golden Seal- An herbal antibiotic. Good for killing bacteria and fungus, slows H-Pylori growth (bacterium in the stomach, colon, rectum, and oesophagus) Also available in a tablet to use in place of a antibiotic.
- Gentian- The bark of the plant is used to make medicine. Popular for digestive problems such as loss of appetite, bloating, diarrhea, and heartburn.
- Licorice- Medicinal use of licorice dates back to ancient Egypt, where the root was made into a sweet drink for pharaohs. It has also been used in traditional Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Greek medicines to soothe an upset stomach, reduce inflammation, and treat upper respiratory problems. Today, many people utilize licorice root to treat ailments like heartburn, acid reflux, hot flushes, coughs, and bacterial and viral infections (we also stock it as a liquid supplement). Additionally, licorice tea is said to soothe sore throats.
- Dandelion- Dandelion is a Chinese herb, from the Daisy family. Detoxifies and supports Liver function. Is a diuretic, which stimulates the kidneys to release more fluid, which in turn eases swelling in the legs. Reduces fatty liver, aids all stomach and liver conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, helps with acne, eczema, and heartburn.

Strain and drink warm, 1/3 to 1/2 cup before meals. Store the remainder in the fridge for up to 5 days. Can drink in-between meals for indigestion, heartburn or any liver issues as required.
Barbara's story.
When Barbara was young she was always iron deficient. Always taking iron supplements even though she was eating a very nutritional diet. After much research, she realised there was nothing wrong with her diet, rather that her hydrochloric acid in her stomach and digestion was not able to extract her iron and other nutrients from her food for the body to utilise. So, she developed this blend of herbs that would stimulate and assist her body in doing just that. Barbara has never needed to take iron supplements since.
